Sometimes all you can do is shake your head. Since being alerted to the existence of 3Girls and their mind-boggling cover of Kylie's "I Should Be So Lucky", I've watched their horrendous clip on a loop - trying to come to terms with the fact that this actually happened. I'm all for foreign language cover versions of English hits but "Me Estoy Volviendo Loca" is an unforgivable mess. The production is appalling, the divas can't sing and the video looks like it was filmed on someone's iPhone. I'm sure I'll grow to love this for the trash factor but it might take a while. Congratulations, Girls Aloud. You're no longer the worst girlband on the planet! Oh and let me know if you any information about this band - like where they're from for starters. They're completely off the grid.

What Has Kylie Done To Deserve This?

Jack Vidgen Destroys Beyoncé's "I Was Here"
Posted on 02:53 by rajveer
I draw the line at bashing children. Australia's Got Talent winner Jack Vidgen seems like a nice kid and I wish him all the best for his career but please leave the Beyoncé songs alone. Especially something as meaningful as "I Was Here". The Diane Warren-penned ballad is the love-it-or-hate-it song on 4 but after hearing King B's emotional rendition at Roseland, I'm definitely in the former camp. Most of the criticism directed at the power ballad focuses on Bey's age. A lot of people simply feel she is too young to interpret the reflective lyrics. I wonder how those same bitches would feel about a 15-year-old boy tackling the song. But it's not only Jack's age that is cause for concern. Insipid is the best adjective to describe the underwhelming production and the teenager doesn't quite have the vocal prowess to hit the high notes, dragging the whole thing into comedic territory towards the end. Listen to the cold-blooded murder of a modern classic below.

Jimmy Barnes Ruins Dance Music
Posted on 05:08 by rajveer

What is this fuckery? Jimmy Barnes has released a house cover of Dragon's seminal '80s classic "April Sun In Cuba" and single-handedly ruined dance music for everyone. Thanks a lot. There isn't much else to say. DJ Yaleidys - whoever the hell that is - is on better drugs than me if he thinks this shit sounds good. I'll admit it has inherent camp appeal given Barnesy's former rock-god status and there's something amusing about the tragic female vocalist but the track doesn't work and has made me scared to enter a nightclub. Ever again. The video is equally heinous. Why does Jimmy look like a member of Human Nature 25 years from now? Who told this poor woman it would be a good look to stand on a speaker in a bikini top against the worst visual effects in recent memory? How did the director complete on Windows Movie Maker without his laptop crashing? Apparently, "Sun In Cuba" is already a top 40 Club hit in America. Which just goes to prove that the world really does end in 2012 because the apocalypse is clearly just around the corner. Brace yourself for the year's worst single below.

Worst Cover Ever?
Posted on 06:28 by rajveer
I know what you're thinking. That new Sia/David Guetta collaboration is a bit sloppy and desperately needs an overhaul by a Eurotrash DJ and some anorexic bitch in a bikini. Well, fret no more! D.Ghetto has taken it upon himself to jazz up "Titanium" and delivers the hottest mess to hit iTunes in a very long time. Everything about this cover is so bad it's kind of amazing. For starters, Silvia can't sing. A note. Where did they find this chick? She can't even pronounce titanium! And the production - and I use that term loosely - is woeful beyond belief. I think D.Ghetto whipped it up on a Commodore 64 he found at the local tip. The most disturbing thing about the new and unimproved version of "Titanium" is the fact that people are actually downloading it. This trainwreck is sitting just outside the top 100 on Australian iTunes ahead of new singles by Kimbra, Wynter Gordon and Emeli Sandé. While that sad fact sinks in, brace yourself for possibly the worst cover version of all time (below).
