Elen Levon (AKA Australia's next big thing) has just dropped a cute viral video for her new single "Dancing To The Same Song". The official video will be filmed in Japan in late September but this is a definitely worth checking out in the meantime. Sydney's hottest 18-year-old takes it easy in the clip - surfing and playing with her manager's kids. It's nice to see India's adorable children on screen and Elen's bikini body is insane. Most importantly, the soundtrack is brilliant. "Dancing To The Same Song" has been added across the board on Austereo and is slowly creeping up iTunes. I have a great feeling about the teenage diva's party anthem. That chorus is irresistible and she has some amazing people in her corner. Fingers crossed it's third time lucky for Elen.

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about Eva Simons' hot new single "I Don't Like You" and quipped that the Dutch diva was on a mission to slay. Talk about a premonition! This is one of the freshest dance anthems of the year and could be the "Silly Boy" singer's big break if it takes off on radio. Zedd's production is icy perfection and the owner of the best hair in pop showcases her powerful pipes to full effect. Surely, there's room in the game for one more sexy siren? Hell, we can always get rid of Keri Hilson. As for the video (below), it's beautifully shot and Eva looks amazing. She is so striking and I want to steal that poodle. The lighting is great and I like the scene where the new and improved Rihanna hides from her Ex in the car. From one stalker to another, the trick is the park around the corner! Apart from that there's not much of a narrative but it does the trick. "I Don't Like You" is getting a lot of love online. Fingers crossed that it now takes off in the clubs and starts flying up the charts.

A couple of weeks ago I posted the audio of Gossling's new single and declared it my new obsession. well, nothing's changed. If anything "Wild Love" has grown on me even more. This is easily one of the best songs of 2012 and deserves to be massive. The leap from indie darling to mainstream pop sensation is never easy but an arresting video definitely helps. See Kimbra's "Settle Down" for a recent example. Unfortunately, Gossling's visual isn't quite of that calibre. It's definitely cute and quirky - I love all the yarn and the twist at the end - but it seems a little underdone. The lighting is particularly unflattering and it takes far too long to get going. An epic song like this needed something more dazzling and dramatic. Anyway, "Wild Love" remains sublime and I've already pre-ordered my copy of the EP - signed, no less! - from JB Hi-Fi.
