How does Queen Kat do it? While basic bitches like Britney and Rihanna give popular music a bad name with their recycled beats and tired lyrics, the Dominican deity continues to raise the bar for international dance divas. In the space of year she has set European clubs on fire with era-defining floorfillers "Had A Dream" and "Wild Girl", made Samba happen again with "Wanna See You Dance (La La La)" and revived Busta Rhymes' career by appearing on his urban smash "Blaze It Up". Such is her work ethic that she even promoted her album at a Halloween party! None of our faves are worthy!
It's astonishing then that RedOne's original muse also found the time to collaborate with Fatman Scoop on "Shake It". When does this angel sleep? As usual, the track is absolutely flawless. Kat goes in over the heavy reggaeton beats, while the diet-challenged rapper ends careers by shouting: "Shake like Christina! Shake like Beyoncé!" Could 2 Chainz? The video (below) is also more triumphant than Mariah at a #1 hits convention. I love the DeLegend's hot new image - the hair is pure sex - and the trippy special effects are better than anything in Avatar. Chalk this up as another victory for the Kween.
